Overview
The Alert Manager is a full CRUD alert system with Discord webhook integration. Create automated alerts that fire when specific options-analytics conditions are met (IV surface changes, gamma flip crossings, price levels, or volume spikes), then route notifications to your Discord channels for real-time delivery.
The window has three tabs — Alerts (create, view, test, and delete alerts), Webhooks (configure Discord webhook URLs and event subscriptions), and Stats (alert count, active count, remaining quota).
Key Features
- 4 alert types:
- IV_SURFACE: Triggers when implied volatility percentile crosses a threshold on any of your configured tickers.
- GAMMA_FLIP: Triggers when a gamma flip zone is crossed — a regime change alert.
- PRICE_ALERT: Standard price level alert for any ticker.
- VOLUME_SPIKE: Triggers when trading volume exceeds a dynamically computed historical baseline for the ticker. Threshold sensitivity is configurable per alert.
- Discord webhooks: Create webhook configurations with a name, Discord URL, and event type subscriptions (iv_surface, security_alert, api_limit, user_signup, tier_change). Alerts route to your Discord automatically.
- Multi-ticker support: Specify multiple tickers per alert as comma-separated values. The alert monitors all listed symbols.
- Manual test triggering: Test any alert with a single click. The system fires the alert and reports how many tickers matched, confirming the alert is configured correctly before you rely on it.
- Tier-based limits:
- Free Tier: 2 alerts
- Pro: 50 alerts
- Alert stats: Dashboard showing total alerts, active count, tier limit, and remaining quota.

Alert Types Reference

Use Cases
- Regime change notifications: Set GAMMA_FLIP alerts on SPY, QQQ, and IWM. When any of them crosses a flip zone, your Discord pings — you don't need to be watching the screen.
- Earnings vol monitoring: Before earnings season, create IV_SURFACE alerts on your watchlist. Get notified when IV percentile hits extremes — which may indicate opportunities for premium-selling or hedging strategies.
- Team alerting: Configure a shared Discord channel webhook. The entire team receives the same gamma and IV alerts, keeping everyone on the same page without manual communication.
How to Launch
Open the Window Launcher — click + or press L.
Search for Alert Manager or browse Strategy & Intelligence.
Click to launch. The Alerts tab opens by default, showing your existing alerts and the Create Alert button.
Click Create Alert — choose a type, name your alert, add tickers, set thresholds, and save. Switch to the Webhooks tab to connect your Discord channel.
Data Source & Tier
Alert Manager communicates with the Central Alert System and User Management services via HTTP. Alert creation is available on all tiers with tier-based limits (Free Tier: 2, Pro: 50). Full Discord webhook integration is on the Pro tier. View pricing →
