Trade study

The desk's own tool for the preferred structure on the linked name: the sliders, the odds table and the strikes. It draws INLINE, on Trade Cards' own Trade tab, unchanged.

A second, separate pane once opened the same tool apart from the sheet, so it could be moved, tiled or floated. It moved off the customer desk on 2026-09-25, with its "Open in its own pane" button. Nothing about the inline study changed.

At a glance

• It follows the desk. It redraws for whichever name is linked, on Trade Cards or any other pane that links one.
• One structure. The preferred structure. Not the plain long option beside it.
• No trade priced. A shares only row, or a name with no trade at all, says so in one line rather than drawing an empty tool.

Key difference. The study is one tool, drawn once, inline, on the Trade tab. It is never a second trade.

Where it comes from

The study reads the same payload Trade Cards already holds, GET /api/v1/todays-book. It builds from the linked row. It composes no request of its own.

Can it price the plain long option instead? No. It always draws the preferred structure. The plain long option is on the Trade tab, beside the preferred structure, in Trade Cards itself.
