Checking the record

You want to see what the desk said before tonight. That is a fair thing to want, and the desk keeps it. This page shows where the record is, how to read it, and what it does not claim.

At a glance

• Where the record is. The public Record page, ringmaster.oheyinc.com/performance.html. Every published book, its win rate, and the coin flip on the same names.
• What it shows. One row per published book, held for one horizon, against its matched coin flip, with the count of closed positions behind it.
• What it does not show. No Sharpe, no yearly return, no equity curve. Every figure is paper trading, labelled hypothetical.
• Key difference. The record shows what the desk published and how it did on paper. It does not grade any account, because no account traded it.

Book History, the internal tool this page used to walk

Book History replayed which names the book held, trading day by trading day, membership only, no price, no score, no return. It moved to the operator console on 2026-09-25: the founder's options-first review found it named nothing an options trader prices. It is no longer reachable from the customer desk. Book History has the fuller history, for reference.

What the record proves, and what it does not

• It proves what was published. Every trading day's book is written once and replayed as written.
• It does not prove a result. The pane draws no price and no return. What a name did after it entered the book is not on the desk anywhere.
• It does not grade the desk. This pane shows no hit rate, no win rate and no performance figure, for the books or for any name. The paper record on the Record page is where Ohey grades its own paper books, labelled hypothetical, with the coin flip beside every win rate.
• Your own delivery record. Every book served to your account is written to a record you can ask for. It shows what was served and when.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the performance number? Not on this pane. It replays what the desk said and never grades it. The only performance figures Ohey publishes are the paper record on the Record page. It is paper trading, labelled hypothetical, with the coin flip beside every win rate. Ask the assistant and it points you there.

Why does the grid only go back a few weeks? The history feed retains a rolling set of trading days, and the caption says how many. The pane replays what the feed holds and invents nothing older.

Can I see the reasoning behind a past book? The reasoning travels with Trade Cards, for the trading day the plan sees. Book History replays membership and side only.

Where do I see the win rate itself, not just what was held? The Record reads the same published, paper record file the public Record page renders. It shows how often each published book's names closed higher, the coin flip on the same names, and the number of positions behind each hypothetical figure. It computes nothing new.

Is a name that left the book a name that did badly? The record does not say. A name leaves when the ranking moves it out of the end band the book is built from. That is a fact about the ranking, not a grade.
